We have been involved in pet rescue since 1983 & over the years have harbored pets (lost on Friday night) for the weekend as the phone numbers on the rabies tags & city license do not help us until Monday. The local SPCA or Humane Societies operate on shortened hours during the weekends therefore a Micro chip implant can not be scanned until Monday. A personalized collar gives your pet one more chance of being returned home quickly. 
Collars are guaranteed for one year of normal usage (this guarantee does not cover damage due to chewing). They may also be used to inform finder of pet's medical condition, such as diabetes or epilepsy. The information cannot rub off or wash off - it is stitched into the collar.
